Guatemalan Cultural Exchange
Working with the AMNA, Asociación De Mujeres Nuestro Nuevo Amanecer from Chimaltenango, Guatemala and MPower Now in Maryland, 2020 Consulting is working to present AMNA in Washington DC at the Catholic University of America. AMNA is a Guatemalan non-profit dedicated to helping the indigenous women and families of the tribes of Guatemalan. The non-profit has assisted over the years over 10,000 women in below poverty levels for their own sustainability economically, socially, educationally, and health wise. As part of several of their programs AMNA assists women to become entrepreneurs and has created a business textile cooperative that allows them to learn how to run a business, market themselves, creates business opportunities, self-fund and grant others, and most importantly, provide for their families and themselves.
USA PERU EXPO
The U.S.A. Peru Expo, a historic 3-day event will focus on economic trade, political dialogue, immigration policy, and cultural exchange between the United States and Peru. With a target audience of Peruvians abroad, entrepreneurs, academics, and policymakers, the event offers sponsors a unique opportunity to connect with a highly engaged international community. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with prominent Peruvian figures, learn about business opportunities, and explore new ventures between the two countries.
